It’s been a while since I’ve been to this Qdoba, but if I were looking for quality service and nachos, I would definitely come and visit this one again.  Although I did have to wait about 30 seconds for someone to start making my nachos (while I was the only one in line and it seemed like there were several workers just staring at me), I was greeted promptly.  The small wait was more than worth it as they piled on all of the ingredients without being stingy.  Everyone was quite friendly, professional, and seemed like they were happy to be there.  I was even helped to my seat with all the food (without even asking), as I had ordered for others dining with me as well.  Truly, a very enjoyable dining experience.

Wow, this Qdoba was packed today!  I stood in line for about 10-15 minutes before getting my order at a little after 1:00p.m.  This was likely do to all the shoppers out the first Saturday after Christmas at this busy mall location.  There were only 3 people behind the counter actually making the meals which resulted in quite a wait.  Despite being very busy, the staff remained quite upbeat and pleasant.  They also had someone cleaning tables and floors regularly, which helped people to be able to have a seat.

The nachos were really well made today with a generous amount of toppings which made them quite tasty.

Qdoba Review 12/20 – Fishers

Typically I get the vegetarian nachos at Qdoba, but today I decided to branch out and give the ground beef nachos a whirl.  I typically like ground beef on tacos and things, and I really did enjoy this variation on the Qdoba nachos.  I always get rice on my vegetarian nachos, and I really like that, so I thought I would add rice to this as well.  They did charge me extra for getting the rice.  Apparently you can substitute the beans that come on the ground beef nachos for rice, but it does cost extra for getting both.  Another thing to note is that the nachos were quite a bit greasier with the ground beef .  When I get the vegetarian nachos, I do not notice any extra grease; however with the ground beef, there were several areas where the queso cheese had grease dripped on it from the beef.

Going through the line at Qdoba, the workers were quite friendly today.  They also layered on plenty of toppings that I had picked out.  Everything was quite fresh when I sat down to eat my nachos layered with black beans, mild salsa, queso, lite sour cream, rice, and shredded cheese.  This is definitely a good combo!

The one complaint that I have about the meal today was that the soda fountain machine must have ran out of syrup on the Diet Coke.  When I got a refill, I was shocked with the awful taste of carbonation without any of the Diet Coke syrup.

Today, I got the Vegetarian Nachos.  There were good overall, however the mild salsa was a bit runny today and made liquid puddles on top of the nachos.  Fortunately it did not settle down into the bottom and get the chips soggy.  Mostly, the liquid stayed on top of the cheese.  Not the prettiest presentation, but they still had a good taste.  The vegetarian nachos consisted of tortilla chips, black beans, queso, rice, mild salsa, shredded cheese, and sour cream.  I think some of chips that were used were from the bottom of the container because some were extremely salty.  Others had the perfect amount of salt on them though.  I typically really enjoy the tortilla chips from here.

One word can best describe this burrito…huge!  They literally stuff this burrito with yummy toppings including rice, beans, shredded cheese, sour cream, steak or chicken, and lettuce.  The thing that I really think makes this burrito extra delicious is the queso cheese.  It’s one of those things that you have a hard time finishing, but it was just so good that I found myself eating it until it was gone!

For dinner this evening, I got the Vegetarian 3-Cheese nachos and a Diet Coke.  The nachos were loaded with their 3-Cheese Queso, Rice, Mild Salsa, Black Beans, Shredded Cheese, and Lite Sour Cream.  This is a place where you go through the line and they make your meal right in front of you, adding ingredients as you go down the line, similar to Subway.  Today, the meal was very good, and they were very generous with all the toppings.  Everything tasted very fresh as well.  The pico de Gallo (which they also call their ‘Mild’ Salsa) is very good.  It has the perfect blend of tomatoes, onion, and cilantro.  The Queso is a definite winner as well.  This is always one of my favorite places to get nachos.  If you go there for a burrito, expect to leave feeling very full…their burritos are huge!
