This Five Guys is located in Hamilton Town Center.  I walked into this Five Guys location and glanced at the slim offerings on the menu.  Your choices are burgers, hotdogs, grilled cheese, fries, and drinks.  Also on the menu board is the list of all the complimentary toppings that you can get.  After I walked in, I was promptly helped and gave my order of a cheeseburger with six of my favorite toppings.  The server asked if I would like any fries or drink to go with that and gave me my receipt with my order number.  I sat a while for my order, probably about 10 minutes (the restaurant was not too busy on a Sunday evening), and looked around at the decor.  They have a lot of articles posted on the walls about the different stores with reviews and stories.  As I waited, I saw several tables being cleaned off.  The restaurant had a very clean feel.  My number was called, and it was hard to hear the person saying it.  Every time the person would call a number, they would call it towards the wall, so it made it very hard to hear.  They should really come up with a different system here because I think it would have been difficult to hear even if he had been calling towards the customers.  They could give out the numbers to sit on your table or have an electronic number pop up while they call a number.  I ate my cheeseburger, and it made sense as to why the menu was so small.  They make burgers, and they make burgers well.  Wow, this was a delicious cheeseburger!  It was juicy, and it had such good flavor.  I am already thinking of when I will go back to get this cheeseburger again!

Red Robin Review – Noblesville

Today I walked right in and got seated immediately.  Today the character mascot ‘Red’, which is appropriately a red robin, was out and mingling with the kids.  We were seated near the kitchen, however it was not a negative experience as I would anticipate sitting near a kitchen at most restaurants would be.  I even got to see that the cooks and food preparers were wearing gloves while they worked which thrilled me to see.  The fries were still pretty bland steak fries (with a little seasoning on them), and my cheeseburger was pretty good.  My one complaint would be how my burger was cooked.  I had ordered a medium well burger, and mine came back with several pink areas still in it.  Each time I have ordered a burger from here, the toppings have been very generous.  They have especially put a lot of onion on, which suits me fine.

I came here at a peak lunch hour, and the place was quite busy.  I was seated quickly and before the 20 minutes I was told it would take.  This was such a good hamburger today.  I can definitely say that it is one of my favorites.  I have been here before, and I got this burger and it was good except for I didn’t care for the pickle relish.  I’m not a big relish person though.  This time I ordered it without the pickle relish, and it had the perfect combination of all the other ingredients.  It was quite delicious.  The other people that I dined with equally enjoyed their hamburgers.  One got the Royal Red Robin Burger, and get this, it actually has a fried egg on it.  This person had heard others say how good the burger was and decided to give it a whirl.  Well, they thoroughly enjoyed this interesting burger.  The other times I have dined at Red Robin (it was another location – this is the first time dining at this location), the fries have always been really bland.  They serve steak fries, and the fries are all-you-can-eat.  They have a seasoning at the table that you can use, but for whatever reason, I still didn’t care for the fries very much.  Today, the fries seemed a lot better.  They came with a good amount of seasoning already on them when they were served.

We were a little nervous about the server at first because they seemed a bit lost.  However, we were pleasantly surprised when we were constantly brought new drinks when ours were close to running out and our food was exactly how we ordered it.  The place has the music a bit loud (the same with the other Red Robin I have dined at), so it makes it a little difficult to hear what the server is asking/saying, and you feel like you need to raise your voice when ordering in order to make sure the server is able to hear you.  However, this was an enjoyable experience with a great burger.

Today’s lunch was a cheeseburger and fries.  The one thing that bothered me about the cheeseburger was that the wrapper had something sticky on the outside.  It was like some of their syrup from breakfast had spilled on it or something.  Fortunately, it did not leak through to the sandwich.  The sandwich was good, as were the fries.  The fries came out warm and with the perfect amount of salt.  The Diet Coke was also very good…one of my favorite places to get a fountain Diet Coke.

I decided to give the new Iced Mocha a try today.  The sign said that today was their first day debuting the new McCafe Coffees.  I ordered a Nonfat Iced Mocha.  I was hoping that I would get a drink that had the ice crushed up and blended in with the drink, similar to my favorite, the Starbuck’s Mocha Frappuccino.  However, it was not like that.  It was a drink that had the coffee and syrup mixed together and then ice cubes.  Therefore, to me, it tasted quite syrupy.  Although it looked pretty, with the whipped cream and syrup laced on top, I would not get this drink again.  I will give the regular McCafe Mocha (a warm drink without the ice) a try in the future though.
