YogoKiss must not be a chain because when I went to their website, only the 96th street location was listed.  When you go in, there is a list of smoothies you can get, or you can choose the frozen yogurt.  When I was there, there were three different flavors of frozen yogurt to choose from.  One was plain (which I was told doesn’t really taste like vanilla), the other was chocolate, and then there was a third.  There were quite a few toppings that could be added to the top of the frozen yogurt…everything from breakfast cereals to more traditional toppings.  You were able to sample the different frozen yogurts, and I wish that I would have.  Instead I opted for the Blueberry Pomegranate Smoothie.  They made the smoothie as I was waiting, and it took a few minutes to make.  I was a little disappointed in the taste.  It seemed like maybe there was too much ice that was used because it had a very watered down taste for containing blueberry and pomegranate.  I was really looking forward to a strong, fruity taste.  However, it tasted more like a Popsicle, with a subtle fruit flavor.  I also felt that the smoothie’s cost was a bit high.  For a comparable price, I could have gotten a frappucino at Starbuck’s, and I would have enjoyed it more.  The Ikea (from what it appeared) decorated YogoKiss had several areas for sitting down and chatting with friends or enjoying your treat alone.  There were several couches as well as several round tables.  There were also many magazines in which to browse along the walls.

I had their strawberry orange guava smoothie for the first time this week and I loved it!!! I saw them put in a lot of real strawberries and it didn’t have an artificial taste like most smoothie places. Maybe you should try that one. Oh, I’ve also had their pina colada one before too and it’s good…sweeter than the strawberry orange guava though. Their customer service is really good so if the smoothie was too icey for your liking, you could probably ask them to put less ice in it and make it sweeter.

And yeah, try their yogurt next time. It’s delicious! My favorite is the original and the peach. I usually get the original with strawberries, mango and fruity pebbles. So goood…yumm…

That does sound like a good one to try. A friend I went here with ordered the Pina Colada smoothie and liked it as well. I was curious if the frozen yogurt tasted like the frozen yogurt from TCBY (they have one of these in Carmel, IN).

I have gone to Yogokiss several times, but this last time, I, too, felt the chocolate yogurt was different…..very tasteless….and possibly watered down. I don’t know what exactly is in their yogurt, but for chocolate it had no taste except some kind of “diet” taste??! And too, the price is a little high, except you can get up to 3 toppings at no extra charge. It may be awhile before I go back…..I couldn’t even finish it; had to throw the rest away!

THeir yogurt tastes funny because it is powder based, if you want real yogurt go to Red Mango. Their is one opening in Carmel soon i hear.
